Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Primi Bocconi website and, once you take out a subscription, the Primi Bocconi membership (together, the "Service"). By visiting the site, creating an account, or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Primi Bocconi is operated by SFM LLC. Full publisher and hosting details are in theLegal Notice below. You can reach us atciao@primibocconi.org.

2. What the Service is

Primi Bocconi provides baby-weaning menus, recipes, batch-cooking plans and printable food and allergen trackers for parents and carers of babies and young children, built around official Italian and international infant-feeding guidance. Some content is free to browse; the full library, weekly menus, batch-cooking plans and printable trackers are available to paying members once membership is open, as described in Section 4.

We may add, change or retire individual features over time as we improve the Service, provided the core membership described at the time you subscribed is not materially reduced without notice.

3. Eligibility and your account

The Service is intended for parents, carers and other adults acting on behalf of a child. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to create an account or subscribe. Primi Bocconi is not directed at children, and no one under 18 may create an account.

When you create an account, you agree to give accurate information and to keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us straight away atciao@primibocconi.org if you suspect anyone else has access to it.

4. Subscription plans, free trial and billing

When membership is open, Primi Bocconi offers a 7-day free trial, followed by a paid subscription on one of two plans:

There is currently no monthly plan. Prices are shown in euros and include any VAT required by law, unless stated otherwise at checkout.

Free trial. If you start a free trial, you get full access to the plan you selected for 7 days. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan begins automatically and payment is taken for the first billing period. Cancelling during the trial costs you nothing.

Automatic renewal. Both plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (yearly for Annual, every three months for Quarterly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payments, once membership is open, are processed by Stripe. Primi Bocconi does not store your full card number.

Price changes. We may change our prices from time to time. If a price change affects your subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice before it takes effect on your next renewal. Continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before the renewal as set out in Section 5.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by writing tociao@primibocconi.org. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the period already paid, except as described in Sections 6 and 7. If you cancel, you keep access to the Service until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

6. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Italian Codice del Consumo give you the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason and without penalty.

Digital content and the immediate-access exception.Primi Bocconi's menus, recipes, plans and trackers are digital content supplied other than on a tangible medium, made available to you immediately once your subscription starts. Under the Consumer Rights Directive, if you expressly ask us to give you immediate access to this digital content during the 14-day period, and you confirm that you understand this means you lose your right of withdrawal once we begin supplying it, then your right of withdrawal ends at that point. We ask for this confirmation at checkout, worded plainly, before immediate access begins.

If you have not asked for immediate access, or you withdraw before we begin supplying the content, you can exercise your right of withdrawal by telling us clearly, for example by email tociao@primibocconi.org, within the 14-day period. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right you have under Italian or EU law.

7. Refunds

Where your right of withdrawal applies as described in Section 6, we will refund any amount already paid for the withdrawn subscription, normally within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used to pay, unless we agree otherwise with you.

Outside the right of withdrawal, subscription fees already paid for a billing period that has started are generally non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer law or where we decide, at our discretion, that a refund is appropriate, for example for a documented technical failure of the Service that prevented you from using it.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches this section, as set out in Section 14.

9. Intellectual property

All recipes, menus, batch-cooking plans, trackers, text, photography and other content published on Primi Bocconi belong toSFM LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Subscribing gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view, print and use this content for your own household's non-commercial use, for example printing a menu or a tracker sheet for your kitchen. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

The Primi Bocconi name and logo are our trademarks or trade dress and may not be used without our consent.

10. Content you submit

If we ever let you submit content to Primi Bocconi, for example a comment, question, or a photo you choose to share with us, you keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting it, you grant Primi Bocconi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service, for as long as it remains posted or as otherwise agreed with you. You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

11. Medical and nutrition disclaimer

Primi Bocconi's menus, recipes, plans and trackers are general educational information about weaning and early feeding. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for individual guidance from your pediatrician or another qualified health professional.Every baby is different. Always talk to your pediatrician or a qualified health professional before starting weaning, before introducing common allergens, about textures appropriate for your child's development, and about any medical condition, allergy, intolerance or special dietary need your child may have.

You, as the parent or carer, remain responsible for supervising your child during every meal, for checking ingredients and preparation against your child's own needs, and for food safety in your own kitchen, including correct storage, reheating and checking for choking hazards before serving. Primi Bocconi is not liable for how any recipe, menu or plan is prepared, served or supervised in your home.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do our best to keep information accurate and the Service running smoothly, but we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, Primi Bocconi's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that mandatory Italian or EU consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Primi Bocconi harmless from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.

14. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 8, after giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue where the breach can be fixed. We may also suspend the Service for maintenance, security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 5.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the Service or in the law. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice before it takes effect, for example by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given to you by mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first atciao@primibocconi.org so we can try to resolve it directly. If you are an EU consumer, you can also submit a complaint through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform atec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that give you the right to bring proceedings before the court of your own place of residence, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Italy.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Primi Bocconi collects, why, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Italian data protection law.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is SFM LLC. You can contact us about any privacy question atciao@primibocconi.org.[DPO CONTACT if appointed]

2. What data we collect

Today, when you request the free recipe book or sign up to our emails, we collect:

That is the whole of what we collect right now. Nothing else.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, once membership is open, we will also collect:

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

Under the GDPR, we can only process your data where we have a valid legal basis. Here is how each purpose maps to a basis:

We never sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. Who else processes your data

We use a small number of carefully chosen service providers, acting as our data processors, who handle data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement:

These providers may process data under appropriate contractual and technical safeguards, as described in Section 6.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your email and age range for as long as you remain subscribed to our free emails, and delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Once membership is open, we keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active, and billing records for as long as Italian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, even after you cancel.

6. International transfers

Where possible, we keep your data within the European Union, as with our Supabase database in Frankfurt. Where a provider we use processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), together with any additional safeguards required, to protect your data to the standard required by the GDPR.

Primi Bocconi is a service for parents and carers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Any reference to your baby's age range is data about your child that you, as the parent or carer, choose to share with us to personalize your menus, not data collected from the child.
